Skincare is an important factor to maintain our skin against bacteria and infection, therefore it is important to choose products that suit your skin. My skin has changed over the years from dry to combination, meaning I have tried and tested a range of products to suit my skin type. I have been using the Liz Earle skincare for quite a few years now as they hydrate, moisturise and leave my skin feeling healthy and glowing.
I follow their three-step routine, made up of the cleanse and polish, tonic and moisturiser, that combined help to achieve smoother and rejuvenated skin. You are able to see visible results that work on toning and perfecting the texture of your skin. Liz Earle products have also been life changing for my mum who suffered with severe acne and has previously trialled a range of products. Liz Earle’s skin care range calmed her skin and reduced redness and irritation with its natural ingredients.
Step 1: Cleanse and Polish
This product has received over 130 awards as it helps clear skin in a natural way, leaving it feeling smooth and rejuvenated. It is enriched with cocoa butter to help soften and moisture, as well as eucalyptus, chamomile and rosemary to help tone and cleanse. It is a cream formula that breaks down makeup and pollution that can be harmful to our skin. Products I have used previously have not removed waterproof mascara and leave a residue upon my lashes, however within one cleanse with this product, it is removed. Accompanying this cleanser with Liz Earle’s muslin cloth helps remove the product in a gentle but effective exfoliating way that removes dead skin cells to allow our skin to look clearer and brighter. I apply a penny sized amount onto my fingers and gently massage this within my skin and eyes to remove makeup and bacteria that has accumulated. I then take the hot cloth cleaner and remove the product to reveal a brighter and smooth complexion.
Step 2: Instant Boost Skin Tonic
Toner is an important step to a skincare routine as it removes any cleanser residue upon the skin. Liz Earle’s Bergamot and Basil Skin Tonic is alcohol-free, gentle and hydrating and prepares your skin for moisturiser. It has a fresh scent that is uplifting and invigorating and leaves your skin feeling renewed. Essential oils are infused within the toner to add an elevating feeling to your skincare routine. It is formulated with ingredients such as Aloe Vera, chamomile and cucumber to help refresh and soothe your skin. Vitamin E within the product provides an instant boost to your skin allowing it to become brightened and uplifted. I apply this product with a cotton pad and gently wipe it onto my face to create a clear canvas for a moisturiser to be applied.
Step 3: Skin Repair Moisturiser
Moisturising is a fundamental skincare routine step as it restores moisture into your skin. This moisturiser is devised with pure plant oils that prevent dry skin and leave it looking nourished. Infused with smoothing avocado oil and Vitamin E that allows your skin to feel hydrated for 12 hours and radiant from natural products. Your skin will feel plumper and firmer with results that can be seen within three applications. Its fragrance is fresh and floral which rejuvenates your skin throughout the seasons. In summer it is perfect to apply on those no makeup days as it leaves your complexion looking dewy and soft. Alternatively, apply this during the winter months when our skin can become dry and dull to make it appear beaming and healthy.
Combining these products together will allow your skin to feel revitalised and deeply cleansed. I love using these products daily as makeup and pollution from daily activities can sometimes feel heavy and a nuisance on the skin. Therefore, by using this skincare routine to remove these products, allows you to start and end the day feeling refreshed and invigorated.
